Morgan Three Wheeler and Caterham Seven: Brilliant British Flyweights – CHRIS HARRIS ON CARS

They’re small, light, fast and deliver the most singular driving experiences. We take them to some beautiful UK roads and discover why they offer something even the latest hypercars simply cannot match. Another terrific video from Chris Harris but…

the videos are all starting to look a bit samey.

Sure Harris’s commentary and analysis of the Morgan and the Caterham are first class but you have seen it all before and on the same roads to boot.

Again, don’t get me wrong, Chris is first class but he needs to keep pushing the envelope.

As I have said before, he needs to start testing modified cars, modified cars with packages you can get of the shelf, ie tuned cars anyone can build themselves. Every man and his dog are testing the factory supplied cars these days.

Back to this Morgan and Caterham video, Harris does a good job but the interest factor could be turned up if Chris does two things.

1. Make the videos longer, like 30 minutes.

and

2. Interview someone representing each of the cars to get their views. It could be someone from the respective factories, someone from a club, form a race series and so on and so forth.

Chris sitting down with his opinions and comparing them to other people who build/design/own/race (delete as applicable) the same cars would make a fascinating conversation and would be easy to film to boot, not to mention making point 1 a piece of cake to achieve.

So to recap, Harris’s review of the Morgan and the Caterham is a joy as always, but at StrikeEngine, we believe he could easily ramp things up and make his videos even more irresistible.
