DETH Rally 2025 – Spectating PLAN for Max Action
This is a continuation of the DETH Rally/ΡΑΛΛΥ ΔΕΘ 2025 spectating guide which you can see here. The purpose of this article is to give myself some sort of plan which gives maximum viewing time, throughout the day, in different places. And a bit of variety ie cars refueling, passing through Agios Prodromos etc. I may go through with it, I may not. And if you find it helpful, that’s great!

Location 1 – Mid Section Stage 1 – ARRIVE: 08:00, 1st Car approx* 08:23hrs, LEAVE: 08:50
Top of mountain.
Easy to start to the day, with good access from Thessaloniki-Galatista. Nice scenery at top and decent view of the cars.
Location 2 – Mid Section, Stage 2 – ARRIVE: 9:30, 1st Car* 9:40hrs, LEAVE: 10:00
Fastest speeds of the rally.
This one is a bit more hard core as it involves driving on graded fire trails for 20 minutes in and 20 minutes out.
This gives us a spectating point at probably the fastest section of the rally. Very high speed corners and we can also see the cars for a long distance as they go away from us, downhill, into the valley towards Paleochora.
Location 3 – Service Park. ARRIVE: 10:40, LEAVE: 11:20

Location 4 – Layby Arnea Road. ARRIVE: 11:30, 1st Car* 11:50
Wait for first cars and follow to BP
Location 5 – BP Petrol Station Paleochora. ARRIVE: 12:09, 1st Car* 12:09, LEAVE 12:30

Time is tight here. Probably going to miss a few cars.
Location 7 – Service Park. Arrive 13:47, LEAVE: 14:00

DETH Rally 2025 Spectating Plan – Summary
I think the plan is okay. It’s a bit tight to get to location 6, I’ll probably miss the first few cars but it is what it is.
It gives four different places to see the cars from which isn’t too bad for a five stage rally. It would be nice to see a start of one of the stages but I don’t think that’s possible because Arnea is too far away and I want to get shots of the BP garage which is too close to the start of Stage 1 & 3.
All-in-all I think the plan should do a job.
What is the DETH Rally/ΔΕΘΥ ΡΑΛΛΥ?
It’s a round of the National Greek Tarmac Rally Championship and in the 2025 it is the finale of the season. The rally coincides with the International Trade Fair of Thessaloniki.
