Air India 171 – More OUTRAGEOUS Comments

Two YouTube channels with exact opposite opinions on Air India 171 #airindia171 #airindiaupdate
Air India 171 commentary from Meet Kevin

It’s appears to be being reported as fact that the WSJ knows that the captain of Air India 171 switched the fuel control switches to cutoff. In this article I’ll go over two YouTube videos who draw the exact opposite conclusion having read the same Air India 171 crash preliminary report.

This article summarised in video

Meet Kevin

I might be reading this video incorrectly but it appears to that Meet Kevin is reporting things written in the WSJ as fact.

And the “facts” are that the Air India 171 accident investigation is focussing on the captain as the perpetrator of the crash.

Again, if I am reading it correctly, not only does the WSJ know the crash was caused by pilot suicide, they also think they might know who did it.

And from what I gather from the Meet Kevin video, all this information comes from the prelim report and/or perhaps the WSJ has a mole inside the investigation team.

Whichever way I look at it, I find the situation outrageous.

There is an ongoing investigation into the deaths of over 200 people and there are media outlets leaking information which appears to be completely unfounded and could undermine/unduly influence/put pressure on the people carrying out the investigation.

And it’s not like the WSJ is leaking facts, they are also making accusations.

If I didn’t know better I’d say the propaganda being put out against the pilots smells a bit like desperation. Desperation of why I don’t know.

Flying Beast

So Meet Kevin is on the one extreme and on the other we have Flying Beast.

Flying Beast is saying any suggestion that either of the pilots committed suicide is completely groundless and that the information in the prelim report makes him question if the people investigating are actually qualified. Check his video here, it’s well worth a watch.

And further than that, he is saying it’s clear there was some sort of technical malfunction with the plane as it took off and before the fuel control switches moved to cutoff.

Air India 171 – Which Argument?

Which of the two sides is most compelling?

For sure technical failure. The more I hear from American media relentlessly pushing the pilot suicide angle the less likely I think it is. I’m not sure how qualified Flying Beast is, but from the research I have done, the things he says at least make sense.

Bizarre

It’s bizarre that there can be such polarised opinion on the same facts. Both sides cannot be correct. And therefore one side is going to look more and more unhinged and delusional as time goes on. And that side is going to be the one whose opinion and statements are not backed by hard facts.

And at the moment, the American media side seems to be on the side with very little grounding in facts.
