F1 2020 New Calendar (StrikeEngine Proposed)

This is the StrikeEngine suggested calendar for the F1 2020 season.

The dates in this calendar are based on the dates from this proposed 2020 F1 Calendar on Crash.net

The thinking behind our revised calendar.

Reduce the travel distance to a minimum.

The current calendar has teams flying back and forth all over the world. The grand prixs in this calendar are grouped together by continent.

Increase the frequency of GPs.

Grand prixs are scheduled on a weekly basis with a few exceptions ie travel between continents. The closeness (distance) of consecutive grand prixs make this relatively easy.

Have large breaks between groups of GPs.

This gives the calendar some flexibility to move the calendar backward if necessary.

Using circuits twice.

Singapore and Japan are out of the way, hold these grand prixs at circuits we are already visiting, ie Japanese Grand Prix at Monza, Singapore at Austria. Thanks to Bernie and Peter for this suggestion.
