The prediction tool uses the official FDR in part. But I’m not convinced by the official FDR. Let’s look at what bias it’s giving for some of the players.
Arsenal players are getting a 0.4 points boost vs Sunderland. Okay, maybe I’d expect a bit more but that fine. Arsenal players stay.
Palace 0.5 handicap vs Brighton. Fixture difficulty planner says Palace players should get a boost here. So they can stay.
Liverpool 0.9 handicap vs City. Yeah, seems about right. Fixture planner say it’s a tough fixture for Liverpool.
Bournemouth -0.1 vs Villa away. Fixture planner says its close with slight bonus for Bournemouth. Perhaps Bournemouth players should be getting a small boost so they can stay also.
Chelsea +1.6 vs Wolves. Chelsea are big favourites, so okay, they can stay.
Over Quota
Calafiori comes out for Chalobah, too many Arsenal players.
Likewise Sanchez out for Petrovich. (Pope predicted numbers a bit over estimated according to difficulty planner)
All in all, if anything, I’d say the players chosen by the tool are a bit underrated rather than overrated for this week. So generally team can stay as is.
