Free Hit team selection GW6 25/26

StrikeEngine FPL Free Hit team selection using the points prediction tool and specifically the PPnGW column

Might be a surprise seeing Arsenal players with a Newcastle fixture.

“Official” Fixture Difficulty Ratings

FPL is saying the Newcastle fixture is difficult for Arsenal. The StrikeEngine FPL fixture difficulty planner is say almost the complete opposite. I was very unimpressed with Newcastle against Bournemouth. They don’t seem much of a threat, at least in that game. Hence the three Arsenal players for the Free Hit.

Defenders

Timber, Calafiori, Chalobah, Senesi, Romero

Romero might be a surprise here but the Spurs fixture looks very good and we had hit the limit for Arsenal players.

Midfielders

Gravenberch, Semenyo, Enzo, Ndiaye, Grealish

The planner and points predictor is saying this week is a good fixture for Everton hence the two midfielders. These Everton players don’t make it into the Wildcard team.

Gravenberch is on good form, Semenyo and Enzo have good fixtures.

Forwards

Pedro, Gyokeres, Richarlison

As above for the Arsenal choice although the Newcastle defence looks organised. Might pay to choose differently to Gyokeres.

Pedro and Richarlison have good fixtures.

If Haaland fit, select Haaland for Gyokeres!

Goalkeepers

Pickford, Vicario

Vicario has been the top goalkeeper for most of the season. Pickford in third but second this week because of the fixture.

Summary – Free Hit Team Selection GW6

Some potentially severe one sided fixtures. This team is designed to maximise that imbalance. Wildcard Team selection is similar but does have some key changes.
