GW10 Free Hit – Analysis
Sarr relative bad form continued, I expect his predicted points will drop significantly for GW11. Mbuemo was a big disappointment but fixtures against a new manager are always risky. I got Mbeumo in to the StrikeEngine FPL team as a long term pick so I’m not panicking yet, I’ll be giving him another three gameweeks at least, Man U fixtures are not bad. but Casemiro looks like the pick at the moment but surely his scoring can’t continue. Maguire looks to be back fit so he might figure in next week’s Free Hit team.
Mukiele was expected to be a lock for a cleansheet according the Premier League prediction tool, but Ndaiye had a wonder goal. Of course, I’d just transferred out Ndaiye but I wouldn’t have picked him for the Sunderland game anyway.
Gravenberch on the bench, he was coming back from injury so I didn’t know if he would play the 90. He did and had a haul. He would have been in the team if we knew he was starting.
Welbeck was on the bench and he got 6 points. Pope 3, Thiago 2 points and Bruno F 5 points. Even in hindsight, I don’t think the bench would have changed.
GW10 Wilcard Team Review
In the GW10 prediction article we also put in a wildcard team, ie how we’d change the Free Hit selection if it was a Wilcard.
Thiago > Woltemade -2
Bruno F > Caicedo +5
Pope > Lammens -2
Sideways moves for GW10. Still great points. I think the wildcard team is solid going forward. But I still have question marks around Woltemade. Welbeck looking the choice now. Lammens, we have to see how Man U continue, is the consistency there now?
