FPL GW10 – Predicted BEST Players, Free Hit & Wildcard.
StrikeEngine FPL predicted best players for FPL GW10 and for the next 5 gameweeks. Data from the player predicted points tool. And the fixture difficulty planners.
Overall Predicted Best Players GW10

Best players overall gives us this
Gabriel
Halland
Timber
Calafiori
Semenyo
Mukiele
Mbeumo
Sarr
Ballard
Woltemade
Casemiro
Breaking that down into positions
Defenders
Gabriel
Timber
Calafiori
Mukiele
Ballard
….Guehi next on this list
Midfielders
Semenyo
Mbuemo
Sarr
Casemiro
one more gives us Bruno Newcastle and after that Bruno Man U
Forwards
Haaland
Woltemade
One more gives us Welbeck and then Sesko and then Isidor.
The players points predictions are based on this fixture difficulty planner, which in turn uses in part the official FDR.

However, I’m not convinced with the official FDR so this is the StrikeEngine difficulty rating for GW10

Defender Changes
Comparing the two fixture difficulty ratings, how do the defender choices look?
Have we picked any players that have obviously tough fixtures?
Arsenal players are fine for both tools. Sunderland is good with the official tool and average with our tool.
Guehi next on the list but Palace fixture about as good as Sunderland. Newcastle highly rated by both tools and Burn is up there. But tool has already factored in the Palace fixture as being average whereas I think it’s overrating Sunderland. That brings Guehi into the team over Ballard. Even with no boost, Mukiele still beats Burn.
Final list
Gabriel
Timer
Calafiori
Mukiele
Guehi
Midfield Changes
Man U getting a boost from the prediction, do both difficulty planner concur on Man U fixtures?
Our planner not as convinced but no obvious replacements so we’ll leave as is. Which leaves the question, which Bruno? Probably a budget question, if the money is there, Bruno Man U, better long term choice also.
Forwards
Welbeck looks the choice for GW10, Isidor and Sesko still below him even with big boosts.
Goalkeepers
Lammens
Roefs
Problems
Too many Man U and over budget
Lammens and Roefs good long term picks and excellent value so they stay
Bruno Man U not great value and not a big step in front of Tavenier. Minteh also a choice but arguably Brighton fixtures not as good as Bournemouth.
Let’s deal with the money first. Woltemade out for Thiago, Brentford fixtures will improve.
Lammens out for Pope. Pope more long term pick.

This is tight on budget. Sacrifice a keeper or get a forward if you can’t make it.
GW10 Free Hit Starting IX – 5-4-1
Going back to the overall list
Defenders
Gabriel
Timber
Calafiori
Mukiele
Guehi
Mids
Semenyo
Mbuemo
Casemiro
Sarr
Forwards
Haaland
Bench
Pope
Bruno F
Welbeck
Thiago
…in that order.
Hard to have that bench, perhaps Semenyo should be there but hard to do that given his form. Brentford and Forest have been week away and home respectively. Tough call.
Now for Long Term Picks
Looking at GW10 choices over the long term (5 gameweeks), what changes should we make?

Defenders stay as is, Guehi might need to come out though soon, form not great at the moment
For mids, Bruno comes out for Caicedo
For forwards, Woltemade can come in for Thiago with the Bruno out move.
And Bruno out lets us bring in Lammens for keepers instead of Pope.
FPL GW10 Free Hit/Wildcard Review – Long Term Perspective
The Free Hit team is not a million miles away from the Wildcard team.
Stretching to Bruno Fernandes forces us to make some big compromises with regards to keeper quality and forward line. Sure we don’t need 15 amazing players but its nice to have a strong bench. If you agree get Lammens and Woltemade in this week if you’re doing the wildcard with Caicedo in for Bruno. But bear in mind Chelsea fixtures not amazing over the next 5 weeks.
In Summary
Whatever you’re dong this week, be it Free Hit, Wildcard and normal transfers, hopefully these FPL GW10 predictions give you some good ideas!
