Solid performance from all defenders. Mukiele… ah, in hindsight…..

Gakpo 7

Gravenberch 2

Sarr 2

Cullen 3

Semenyo and Sarr face off was always going to be difficult but they had to make the team.

Haaland 26 Capt

Pedro 2

Isidor 2

Isidor great finish for the disallowed goal. Great pick for the money but didnt play. Pedro wasn’t as dangerous as hoped.

Keepers

Roefs 7

Roefs keeps doing the business and the defence is giving him plenty of exercise.

Summary – GW8 Free Hit Review

Some questionable refereeing decisions but “they’ll balance out over the season”…

Caicedo injury notification came in late, triggering the Gakpo swap in. Okafor also injured which put Cullen on the bench.

The Mukiele pick was inspired but he was never going to make the first XI. Perhaps that was a mistake. But Cullen and Mukiele didn’t have an obvious advantage over Gakpo.

Roefs has been solid and it was a good fixture. Next week not so much but we knew that. But that’s a Wildcard problem.

All in all, a fantastic week. Subscribe to StrikeEngine FPL for more predictions.
