Defenders
Calafiori, Chalobah, Senesi, Livramento, Gabriel
These players have started the season solidly and their fixtures over the next 5 gameweeks are decent and into GW8 fixtures are not horrendous.
Timber hasn’t played enough minutes to make it into the tool.
Guehi and Lacroix don’t make it because of tougher fixtures in the weeks ahead.
Midfielders
Semenyo, Enzo, Zubimendi, Salah, Gakpo
Again, solid start to the season and their fixtures, looking at 5 weeks and 8 weeks in the future, look good, at least at the moment.
Caicedo would have made the team but too many players from Chelsea.
Gakpo chosen ahead of Grealish and Anthony because of his better fixtures.
Forwards
Pedro, Ektike, Foster
Foster is in as backup. Burnley fixtures are not great over the next 5 weeks. Liverpool and Chelsea fixtures look decent.
Haaland out of budget.
Goalkeepers
Pickford, Vicario
Raya doesn’t make it because too many players from Arsenal. Pope because of fixtures. Pickford has slightly better fixtures. Vicario has great fixtures on paper for 8 weeks.
Wildcard Team GW5 – Summary
I’m looking for a decent fixture run over the next 5 gameweeks and preferably fixtures which don’t turn into Everest for 6, 7 and 8.
Crystal Palace players ruled out because their fixtures get tougher. Newcastle fixtures look quiet tough, Everton not great in GW5 but improves after that. Spurs fixtures look very decent over the next 5 weeks but 5-8 gets tougher.
