Premier League Highlights 18-20.10.25 – ALL Games!

With one game left in gameweek 8 (West Ham and Brentford kick off tonight), what did we learn? Let’s look at the gameweek 8 premier league highlights.
Forest Chelsea
Chelsea looked decent throughout. They didn’t look like they were going to blow Forest away but they were very solid.
Forest on the other hand had chances, the scoreline was not a reflection of what happened. Ange was let down.
Going forward, nothing has changed for Chelsea, opinion wise, for me.
Brighton Newcastle

Turned out as expected. Wolte got an easy goal. Nothing enough to make me a believer yet. Perhaps Brighton getting two was a surprise. What was definitely a surprise for me was Welbeck getting two goals. And nice finishes at that. I’ll put it in the memory bank for future reference but I want to see consistency before I’d even consider him.
Burnley Leeds
Leeds look a bit casual, finishing and defending. I’m reconsidering Okafor but I think the planner will do that for me.
Palace Bournemouth
Chaos. Both teams quality. I think Bournemouth might have been a bit robbed for the last penalty.
Man City Everton
Ndaiye. Magic. Game as expected. City aren’t bad.
Sunderland Wolves
Sunderland look solid. Causing problems. Mid table finish would not surprise. Wolves, nothing to write home about. Mukiele looked good. Isidor great finish for the disallowed goal.
Fulham Arsenal
Gunners look scalpel sharp. Game as expected. Maybe Gyokeres is a bit greedy?
Spurs Villa
Tough game as expected for both teams. Result as expected. Spurs not great at home. Villa not as bad as they seem.
Liverpool Man U

Hard to say as a long time Salah fan but he didn’t look great. Liverpool looked much better when he came off for Frimpong. The lack of whistle for the head injury that led to a goal might have rocked Liverpool also. Perhaps they are falling off. I need to see more good results from Man U before I start looking at their players.
West Ham Brentford
Strange game this. Sure, Brentford looked the better team but what was up with Nuno? The look of a rabbit in the headlights. How can he feel this way after only three games? For me the turning point (even more down) for West Ham was the first round of subs not including Wilson. With the cherry on the cake being West Ham fans booing their fifth sub because it wasn’t Wilson. Nuno made some bizarre decisions at Spurs, decisions people couldn’t understand and I think this turned the fans against him. He seems to be going down the same road again at West Ham. For me, I have never seen a game Wilson has played where he didn’t look capable of scoring a goal more or less every time he had the ball. If he’s fit and he plays, he scores. It’s that simple. Nuno not helping himself at all not playing him. Pissing off the fans. And I think also pissing off the dressing room. Sometimes as a manager you have to play a player if you’ve named him in the squad. And Wilson is one of those players when you are chasing a game. If you’re not going to play him at one nil down, why did you put him in the squad? Rant over.
FPL GW8 Premier League Highlights – Wrap Up
Man U could have turned a corner. Sunderland better than most, their players worth a closer look especially at home. Palace and Bournemouth look dangerous for anyone. Arsenal sharp. Salah not great.
