Game-by-Game Prediction Analysis

How did the tools get to these scorelines?

Leeds West Ham

West Ham away fixtures have been harder than Leeds home. Past Points per Game (PPG) for Leeds only slightly higher despite easier fixtures. West Ham have the slight edge but draw is the prediction.

Chelsea Sunderland

Chelsea have had the easier games vs Sunderland away. Chelsea PPG higher by a margin. Chelsea win.

Newcastle Fulham

Fulham woeful away but fixtures away have been the hardest of all the teams except Spurs. Newcastle PPG below average and home game difficulty about average. Newcastle win due to Fulham extremely low PPG away.

Man U Brighton

Man U above average fixture difficulty at home and PPG home is very good. Brighton PPG away average so is away fixture difficulty. Man U win. Bit of conflict between the tools. 2-1 if we split the difference between the predictions.

Brentford Liverpool

Might be surprising to some but both tools predicting a solid 1-1. Liverpool away above average PPG and above average fixture difficulty (FD). Brentford at home average PPG but second hardest FD at home is what makes this a draw.

Arsenal Crystal Palace

Two solid teams, it feels like Palace could beat anyone at the moment. Consensus between the two tools. 1-0. Arsenal PPG joint highest, FD home below average. Palace PPG away joint third, but away FD among the easiest so far, hence Arsenal win.

Villa City

Could both teams be finding some form? Villa average PPG at home but with 3rd easiest FD. City joint 3rd PPG away with average FD. City the stronger, 0-2.

Bournemouth Forest

What a mess Forest are in. Bournemouth joint top for PPG home, but with easiest FD. Forest fourth from bottom PPG away with above average FD. Consensus from both tools, two goals for Bournemouth, 0 for Forest.

Wolves Burnley

Burnley no points away from home skews the “Alt” tool badly. Normal tool saying 1-1. Wolves second lowest PPG home, with below average FD. Burnley weakest PPG at home and home difficulty below average. Looks like it could be tight.

Everton Spurs

Everton have been solid at home. Above average PPG with above average FD. Spurs joint top away PPG but joint third easiest FD. There is conflict between the tools. Normal tool saying 0-1 Spurs, the Alt tool which weights home and away form is saying still 0-1 but the teams are closer than the Normal tool suggests.

Summary – Premier League Predictions 24-26 Oct 2025

Newcastle Fulham is interesting. The Alt tool heavily favours Newcastle. Newcastle scoring freely at home and tight defensively. The Normal tool says its tighter. Either way, it looks like anything less than a win for Newcastle would be a big upset.

Brentford Liverpool prediction might be a surprise, specifically that its so close and looks a solid draw. To be fair, Liverpool haven’t looked great last two games.

Chelsea and Man U games also look close but I think Man U and Chelsea look safeish.
