Suspension Bush Manufacturers

Black Forest Industries
VW Tuners which manufacturers suspension bushes specifically for VW cars

Energy Suspension
Energy Suspension ® is the world's leader in developing and manufacturing performance polyurethane automotive suspension products for: Sport Driving, Transportation, Towing and Racing (on and off-road).

Over two decades of in-house experience in innovating, engineering and formulating a wide selection of polyurethane components for many different industries has qualified Energy Suspension ® as a premier manufacturer of the highest quality polyurethane products available today.
Excellence is company policy, from the initial design stages, where tolerances, preloads and material formulations are made–through the molding processes, to welding techniques, to hardware selection.
This attention to component function and the devotion to quality has resulted in nine U.S. Patents for the company.

Nolathane
Redranger is the company behind Australasia's market leading brand of Nolathane polyurethane suspension components. Nolathane was a pioneer in introducing urethane suspension products to the Australasian market and quickly built a reputation for it's quality & product performance.

Polybush
We keep you in suspension longer-
Yes - but how?

Design: We carefully design each bush to meet your vehicle's specification and requirements. More about this is to be found in the vehicle section of the web-site.

Polyurethane: We manufacture our bushes in house using the best hot cured T.D.I and M.D.I industrial grade polyurethane elastomers.

Choice of Grades: We offer four grades of Polybush which are detailed below. If you have any doubts or concerns which is right for you, please call on the numbers at the top of the page, e-mail us or contact one of our ditributors. Please note we do not do all grades for all vehicle types, see online ordering for details.

Powerflex
Polyurethane has been with us as a specialised plastic for some thirty years. However recent advances have now made it possible to engineer very special properties into this exciting material. Suspension bushes are some of the most highly stressed components fitted to a motor car. They undergo enormous strains and in the most arduous of conditions with no maintenance or lubrication.

The material they are manufactured from is a rubber compound containing natural products which deteriorate with age. It becomes softer and more pliable, resisting the forces placed on it less and less. Therefore allowing more and more movement of suspension components and offering less and less control over the suspension geometry.

Prothane
Polyurethane is an ideal material for performance suspension bushings, motor and transmission mounts. Don’t get us wrong, rubber suspension bushings and mounts are a proven compromise, however in a performance situation additional horsepower, plus size tires and lifted truck suspension or lowered canyon carvers all mix with normal atmospheric conditions and undercar grit and grime to stress rubber bushings beyond design limits. Polyurethane bushings are firm enough to control movement and maintain alignment in sway bars, control arms, and other stressed suspension components without the harshness or resonance associated with solid metal suspension bushings.  We believe that after experiencing the precise steering, road feedback and the added firmness PROTHANE polyurethane bushings offer, you'll never go back to rubber bushings.

Superflex
The story of SuperFlex polyurethane bushes embraces virtually the complete history of the automotive polyurethane bush. It was way back in the 1970s, in Australia, when motor enthusiast Graham Scudamore Smith, who was then involved in car racing and rallying, first considered the possibilities of applying polymer technology to standard road vehicles. He was acutely aware that rubber bushes were (and today still are) the weak link in suspension and steering geometry, having remained virtually unchanged since the early days of motoring. And injection-moulded bushes used in competition vehicles were much too hard, even for performance road use. So, in league with chemists, mechanical and production engineers, and his own knowledge of suspensions, he set about providing some more resilient alternatives.

Superpro - Superpro Europe
Superpro make a massive range of suspension bushes for most popular cars. As well as replacement suspension bushes Superpro also make adjustabale bushes which can be used for changing caster and camber depending on vehicle.

Since the introduction of polyurethane into the Aftermarket Suspension Industry in the early 80's many have tried but few have succeeded in manufacturing accurate, durable parts consistently. Anyone can take two jam tins and mix part A with part B, pour it into a mould and get a result. It takes proper management and high technology to achieve the right result every time.

At SuperPro, we use nominally 70,80 and 90 Shore A material and have adopted a policy of progressive hardness reduction, using sophisticated polymers, design and casting techniques to eliminate noise, vibration and harshness.

It is in this "NVH" area that we are concentrating our greatest developmental efforts. SuperPro Polyurethane Suspension Bushes are not copies of the original rubber component they are specially developed to take advantage of the material's unique properties
