EVO X Clutch Master Cylinder
The EVO X uses a plastice master cylinder which is a known weak point in the transmission and can fail.
The problem is made worse if you use an uprated clutch with higher clamping force.
If you take your EVO X on track you may even notice that your clutch pedal develops a soft feel which makes the biting point harder to judge.
There is a solution, Magnus Motorsports offer a clutch master cylinder upgrade that is designed to replace the EVO X hydraulics with an EVO 8/9 master cylinder set up.
The kit comes complete with everything required to fit and includes backing plate, and adpater, the new master cylinder. As an extra bonus the clutch biting point can also be adjusted.
